I first saw the drawings of the late Guo Fengyi at the 2012 Venice Biennale. Their swirling energetic colorful lines and figurative forms blew me away. A self taught artist from Xian, Guo Fengyi's work was a stand out in a great exhibition of drawings. Check out the exhibition at Andrew Edlin Gallery.
