August, the proverbial dog days of summer, is a good time to look back on the past twelve months. Today is post #3 of the series reviewing the top blog posts (via web traffic) this year.
I was pretty excited to see this Frankenthaler painting at the Whitney. A lot has already been written about the
new narrative at the
new Whitney and its inclusiveness is certainly welcome. Stories always get told by the winners and I'm happy to see Frankenthaler is telling the new version of paintings history.
