I managed to visit the Salman Toor exhibition at the Whitney and have been sitting on these images, just enjoying the the slippery familiarity in their work. I've included a bunch of details because that's were the real joy is to be had, the curl of a lock, the hands (!), the awkward ears and salmon shirt. I'll share images over the next couple of posts to peer into Toor's quiet yet rich world.
